After owning my Cadillac SRX for only 3 months, I tried out the navigation system. It worked fine for most of the first leg of our journey, then began popping around (hard to describe), not responding to touch commands. When we arrived home, our mileage had gone over the 50,000 mile warranty, but we took it in to have the nav system looked at. The cost to repair it was more than we wanted to spend, given the availability of GPS on our phones. Lo and behold! Because the car had accrued miles before it was sold initially, it was still under warranty by 14 miles! Poof! We had the work done. We mostly know where we're going, but will try out the newly repaired system soon.
Well, I don’t know what the problem is but 5 miles from the dealership, the tire pressure monitoring message came on. Of course I could not take it back because I was headed out of town. Second time this has happened.
